About Melody Ranch
MELODY RANCH, the outstanding trio out of Colorado, is made up of three music veterans who have experienced tour stages, song circles, cover bands, recording studios, publishing house deadlines, and memorable house concerts. Growing out of their years together in the Hungry Farmer Reunion Band and other musical outfits, these three have forged a sound strong on instrumentation, harmony, an innate ability to select cover songs (50s, 60s & 70s) for any venue or occasion and a full catalog of original material. MELODY RANCH is currently booking selected dates through 2025.

From intimate clubs to house parties, special occasions to large concert halls. Melody Ranch can accommodate almost any venue. Some of our current venues include, Tokki Tapis Bar, Patty Jewett's Back Porch, Buffalo Lodge, The Point, Coyote Coffee Den, Whistle Pig Brewery, and various private engagements. The Beatles, The Stones, The Beach Boys, Herman's Hermits, Paul Revere and the Raiders, Jan and Dean, The Mamas and The Papas, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, The Monkees, The Hollies, Procol Harum and much more.
The Originals:
Both Sean and Lewis are prolific songwriters with large catalogs of compositions. We draw from this well of music to round out our sets.
Lewis Mock: Is a multi-instrumentalist/vocalist who began performing professionally at eight years of age. Most of his life has been performing as a professional musician through touring with many different bands and orchestras and as a solo act. In 1990 he became the house guitarist at the Broadmoor International Hotel and Resort in Colorado Springs. He has opened for many internationally known artists, and has performed with award-winning artists: Melissa Manchester, Maureen McGovern, Suzy Bogguss, and Debbie Boone, and the John Denver Band. He is a multiple award-winning songwriter. His licks have been published in Guitar Player Magazine. For ten years he was a Professor at the Colorado Springs Conservatory teaching guitar and musicianship, and is a regular instructor at the Colorado Roots Music Camps. He is a 2018 inductee into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame. His most recent projects include recording an album in Nashville with the songwriting powerhouse, Anglum, Mock & Greene (aka AMG), and he is currently recording, writing, and performing with the Colorado bluegrass supergroup, the Red Mountain Boys.
Sean Anglum:
Has been a dedicated student of Pop Culture since his childhood. Nurtured by his classical pianist mother and inspired by the Three Bs (Beatles, Beach Boys and Byrds), he found that music came naturally and he has followed the singer/songwriter calling, even as he carved out a successful career in Public Relations and Event Production. As a singer/songwriter, he has had his songs performed and recorded by a variety of artists in genres from Country and Folk to Rock n’ Roll. Anglum nearly grabbed the hit song ‘golden ring’ when his song “Café Light” was optioned for the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band in the 1980’s. “Café Light” continues to be an audience favorite. Sean has performed with a list of successful Colorado bands, trios, and duos through the years. He brings his talents of lyricism, harmony and arrangement to Melody Ranch, which helps bring together these three powerhouse performers. A natural front man, Sean lets his humor, insight and Pop Culture knowledge bring life to each performance.
Stephen Foster:
With a classically trained pianist for a mother, who also had a penchant for western music, Steve grew up listening to Schubert, Rachmaninoff, Frankie Laine, and The Sons of the Pioneers. Foster went out on his first road tour the summer of his high school sophomore year and has been playing almost continuously since. In that time, he has toured with a number of bands of different genres including Country, Rockabilly, Bluegrass and Top 40 Rock. Steve has also found himself participating in various events including the Denver Jazz Festival, National Western Stock Show, Denver Nuggets home game, The United States Marines National Birthday Ball in Houston Texas and Jazz on the Bay in Corpus Christi, Texas. He lived in South Texas for a time playing Rockabilly, Island Music, Big Band music and even a short stint with a Tejano band. Steve is now living back in Colorado and is delighted to be working with his old musical friends.
